RICKY JOHNSON died tragically young in 2012, aged 49, after an illness that rapidly overtook him. I have purposely left all references to him on this site. His vitality and enthusiasm for the natural history of Abaco, and his wonderful guiding abilities, will not be forgotten. 

…but it’s worth putting in a quick word for the wonderful Eco-Tours run by Ricky Johnson. He features quite often in this blog, and he is an inspiring tour leader with infectious enthusiasm and a compendious knowledge. Want to find Abaco parrots?
