KIM RODY spends “half the year in the Bahamas painting oceans, half the year in Asheville, NC painting mountains”. Below is a selection of her attractive Bahamas-oriented artwork, which includes designs on porcelain and indeed notecards. A couple of the pictures shown – items 4 & 6 – are examples of work by students based on Kim’s themes. Kim’s website is HERE and her Facebook page is HERE

“Sea Lawyers”….. when I was looking for a title, I googled “gray snappers” and this was a match. Sea Lawyers are the dregs of attorneys…. bottom feeders. A woman bought the original for her attorney husband. That’s the truth! http://www.rody.com/product/sea-lawyers/ [as a lawyer I slightly object to this portrayal of a noble and ancient profession but… oh, quite right actually. Sorry about that! RH]

Hi Jess, you’re having a good time scouting round Rolling Harbour I hope! I just feature sample work from Abaconian artists on this blog but do not sell the artwork myself. I’m just a shop window! Can you email me at rollingharbour.delphi@gmail.com, put ‘Kim Rody’ in the subject line to attract my attention. Then I’ll be able to pass on Kim’s contact details, which I’ll have to check, she’s recently changed studio I think. RH
